flying freely over the evil world wide web i found this image from a recent gilead graduation festival (or whatever they call the crap feast now):.
Who wants a ride in the witness heap?

Inter'sting form.

i see a lot of mentions about hospitality after the public talk and honestly, i guess it is a practice that was not in the ny/ct area i grew up in or here in south florida today.. i grew up with an elder father and grandfather who gave public talks and were generally well-liked.
as a child, i never recall being invited to someone's house after the meeting.
granted, it was rare to travel more than an hour but regardless, it was typical to get in the car and head home after the "amens.
Jam - you prob. tried this already, but what works for me is after I get the error message, is to again click on the envelope on the upper right, then the page reloads with the PM title no longer bolded, then it will open. The important thing is to have the title not bold I think.
As for the thread topic; where I live most every speaker gets hospitality, usually it's a restuarant.

this question is really for elders or ex-elders (or ministerial servants in the know).... did you find that some elders would tend to "white-wash" the true state of the congregation when they had their sit-down with the co every 6 months?.
did some elders feel pressure to hide certain things from a co for fear of being "removed" from the boe?.
(judging by the "fakeness" that some elders displayed during co visits, i have to wonder whether they were really worried about being removed for not seeking out inactives or encouraging more participation during the wt study, book study or fs...).

do cos (and dos) have a cushy life in comparison with other jws, or others in fulltime service?.
it could be said that they do, since they have an apartment provided for them, meals out, green handshakes, and invites to social gatherings.
it could also be said that they do not, since they may have to live in a different house every week, accept whatever food they're given, and they have a lot more meetings than the average jw.. .

Specific examples are appreciated. Thank you.
can anyone here with personal experience relate examples of how an elder was removed?.
what were the reasons?
how did he react?

What were the reasons? How did he react? How did other publishers feel about the result? etc.
how common was that where you live?
had you ever heard of that before?.
Interesting to read about. BTTT.
